The Department is a company out of the UK that builds amazing branded experiences for some of the world's top companies. When I was building their website my main goal was to capture the energy of their live events, and nothing did it better than high quality video and images of the events themselves. The design, copy and user experience are simple and modern, helping convey the sense of nightlife and excitement of the company, and to not distract from the striking visuals.
