Voto Latino is an organization founded by Rosario Dawson that counts with celebrities like Wilmer Valderrama, Chelsea Handler, America Ferrara, Pitbull, and Jessica Alba amongst its board members and supporters.
When we were asked by them to create a campaign to promote Hispanic voting in the 2018 mid-term elections, we discovered that Latinos LOVE participating in online polls. So we decided to send them a message every time they voted online: since you love voting so much, vote for real in the 2018 mid-term elections .
We created genuine looking polls on Facebook, Instagram, Voto Latino asked their celebrity friends to create their own polls on their personal accounts, and even inserted messages on the polls of popular online magazines and poll sites.
The polls covered everything from "who wore it better," "kitten vs. puppy," "help Wilmer Valderrama choose his mustache for November" to sports polls, which gave us the opportunity to target and reach almost every demographic.
